Administrative Partners
The Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM) serves seniors in Allegan, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo, and Osceola counties by helping individuals age in place.
Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) are nonprofits created by the federal Older Americans Act in 1974 as one-stop resources for information about home and community-based programs and services for older adults and people with disabilities.

Mason County Senior Services oversees programs and services receiving senior millage monies. Its Friendly Caller Program is staffed by trained and vetted volunteers who provide social connection via periodic check-in phone calls and who, upon request, may also assist by delivering food and medications to older adults aged 60+ in Mason County.

This program offers qualifying Senior Citizens of Mason County (60 years and older) a ride to and from necessary medical appointments.
